How To Enter NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Any U.S. resident age eighteen or over can enter, except employees, agents, or representatives of Fundraisers.com, or any of its parents, subsidiaries, sister companies, or affiliates, or any member of their immediate family. You may enter by completing an essay of 100 words or less stating why Fundraisers.com and its representatives should award a prize from the Prize Closet to your Giving Mom. Winners will be asked to submit proof of their involvement as a volunteer and to what organization. The contest is void where prohibited by law. By entering the contest, contestants agree to allow Fundraisers.com the right to take photographs/video and to allow absolute right to reproduce copies of the contest entries, photographs and/or video recordings for subsequent promotion of the contest and contest verification. Contest Drawing All qualified entrants who participate in the contest will be entered into a random drawing for the prizes described on the Prize Closet page at www.fundraisers.com/prizecloset. To be eligible, each participant must successfully complete and submit an essay of 100 words or less stating why their Giving Mom should receive a prize from the Prize Closet (the essay must be received before July 31, 2006 to be eligible for the drawing), only one entry allowed per person or e-mail address. Organizations can only be awarded one prize per year. All winners will be notified via email once the contest has been closed and winners have been selected. Allow 4-6 weeks for notification from the close of each contest period. If multiple essays are received from the same e-mail address or person, only the first entry received will be qualified; all additional entries will be disregarded. Entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the screen name or e-mail address from which the entry is made. General Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited. Any attempts by an individual to access the site via a bot script or other brute-force attack will result in that IP address becoming ineligible. Fundraisers.com reserves the right to cancel online entries for the drawing without notice if it becomes infected with a virus or is otherwise technically corrupted or unfeasible. Fundraisers.com is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions or failure or delayed, garbled or corrupted data transmitted by participants via the Internet. All entries become the property of Fundraisers.com and will not be returned. Essays may be posted on the Fundraisers.com website. By completing the essay and/or entering this drawing, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final, binding and conclusive on all matters. Sweepstakes start and end upon the official opening and closing of each contest. Prizes & Drawing Winners are selected in a random drawing that is conducted after the official closing of a contest. All qualified entrants will have a chance to win one of the prizes as described in the Prize Closet. Number and value of Prizes vary. Odds of winning depend on the number of essays accepted in each contest. All prizes will be delivered within 6-8 weeks of contest end date. All prizes will be awarded to the winner at the address provided with the essay submission. Entrants must also include the name of the Giving Mom and group on whose behalf the entry is being made, the group's mailing address, the entrant's full name, email address, and phone number. Eligibility Unless otherwise specified, drawings are open only to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older. Void elsewhere and where prohibited. Employees and household family members of Fundraisers.com, its advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, partners, affiliates and operators of their websites are not eligible. United States federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. At the discretion of Fundraisers.com and its representatives, winner may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, except where prohibited, a Publicity Release. If required, affidavit must be returned within 15 days of receipt. If the affidavit is not returned within the time period specified, the prizewinner will be disqualified and an alternate prizewinner will be randomly chosen. No transfer or assignment of any prize to a third party is permitted. The cash equivalent of any prize will not be substituted. Only one prize per group in any year. This sweepstakes shall be governed and construed by California, and the venue for all controversies will be in state or federal court in California. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the drawing or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of essay submissions. Fundraisers.com is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in any contest. Fundraisers.com is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any contest participant. If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of being executed as planned, including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Fundraisers.com which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, Fundraisers.com reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the drawing without notice..
